Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Lead DevSecOps Engineer to join our team, where you will lead an agile team in supporting DevOps for software applications and contribute to the development and maintenance of high-quality software solutions.

In Short

• Lead an agile team of 5-10 engineers.
• Contribute to software application development and maintenance.
• Collaborate with team members on high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
• Document processes and projects in Confluence.
• Create and manage tickets in Jira.
• Engage in continuous improvement of development processes.
• Must have an active DoD Top Secret security clearance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficiency in Jira and Confluence.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong Linux scripting skills.
• Familiarity with Git and Linux container technologies.
• Experience with automated configuration management tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
