In this role, you’ll use your engineering expertise to drive digital transformation across federal government services, contributing to mission-oriented projects that make a tangible impact on public services and national priorities while improving the public's experience with government offerings. As a Senior Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions. You will work closely with the Program Engineering Lead and the product delivery team to maintain sufficient engineering staffing and quality deliverables. Your technical expertise and leadership will be key in guiding the development team through complex projects.

In Short

This is a full-time W2 position.
Corp-to-Corp and 1099 ineligible.
You must be a US Citizen.
You must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
Remote with potential travel to Client site.
Coordinate with the Program Engineering Lead and the product delivery team to ensure sufficient engineering staffing and quality engineering deliverables.
Support a development team using a mix of technologies, including Ruby on Rails, React, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Java, and Python.
Adhere to modern software development practices including accessibility, documentation, testing, observability, and monitoring.
Participate in and facilitate software design meetings, architectural intent- and decision-making discussions, and similar activities.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and evolve features for the application as described in the team backlog.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software development, preferably in a senior engineering role.
Strong proficiency with Ruby on Rails, React, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Java, Git, and Python.
Familiarity with agile software development practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in contributing to and facilitating design and architectural discussions.
Experience managing or mentoring engineers.
