Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure and Security - Remote

In Short

• Design and build scalable infrastructure to support rapid growth in data volume, service usage, and engineering velocity.
• Lead projects across cloud infrastructure, including container orchestration and monitoring systems.
• Implement and maintain core security infrastructure and controls.
• Identify and solve complex scalability and performance challenges.
• Partner closely with Security Engineering for best-in-class security practices.
• Drive infrastructure design reviews and provide technical guidance.
• Work with engineers to make a significant impact on customer security.
• Contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture.

Requirements

• Experience in technical leadership roles on Infrastructure or platform teams.
• Experience with infrastructure, AWS services, and scaling platforms.
• Caring deeply about performance and reliability.
• Thoughtfulness about trade-offs and good product sense.
