Software Engineer - Sensing Platform - Remote

Overview

Vannevar Labs is seeking a talented software engineer to build and deliver a best-in-class platform for managing, operating, and deploying physical sensors. This role is part of a cross-functional team aiming to support a widespread need for cheap, attritable, and easily coordinated sensing.

In Short

• Build applications for managing and configuring physical sensors remotely
• Create pipelines for integrating sensor data into downstream products and external systems
• Develop novel test infrastructure for various systems in our platform
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and develop critical capabilities
• Travel up to 20% of the time to meet with mission owners

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in software development
• Proven experience owning features end-to-end
• Experience with React and JavaScript development
• Experience with various relational and non-relational database systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be a U.S. resident or citizen
