M&A Senior Associate - Remote

Valsoft is looking to hire an ambitious, highly motivated and driven Senior M&A Associate to continue our journey of global expansion!

• Full-cycle M&A professional with salesmanship and analytical skills.
• Manage and execute the due diligence process.
• Identify M&A targets generating $200M+ in revenue opportunities per quarter.
• Conduct exploratory calls and foster relationships with business owners.
• Evaluate target acquisitions and determine realistic valuations.
• Negotiate deal terms aiming for $15-20M in acquired revenues.
• Work in an entrepreneurial environment with potential for team management.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Strong interpersonal skills for long-term relationship building.
• Legally authorized to work in Canada.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, M&A, or Corporate Development.
• An MBA is advantageous.
• Strong financial analysis skills, including financial modeling.
• CFA or CIIA is an asset.
• Familiarity with buy-and-build models and VMS.
• Growth mindset and thirst for learning about diverse industries.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with potential for team management.
• Professional level of English, both written and verbal.
