Bankruptcy Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Bankruptcy Specialist will be responsible for monitoring, reviewing and processing required functions in accordance with Bankruptcy requirements, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.

• Handle end-to-end Bankruptcy processes for Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 cases.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, client guidelines, and federal regulations.
• Perform timely follow-ups with attorneys on bankruptcy cases.
• Audit attorney plan reviews and confirm actions taken by counsel.
• Conduct manual calculations and resolve discrepancies in payment history.
• Review and execute documents for court proceedings.
• Release loans to production or foreclosure upon termination of Bankruptcy stay.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in mortgage or financial technology.
• Proficient in analytics and Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
• Strong time-management and risk assessment skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
