In Short

• Lead Valon’s originations business as the Head of Lending.
• Define strategy and hire a world-class team.
• Focus on both sales and operations sides of the lending business.
• Drive growth in origination volume while ensuring customer experience.
• Partner with Product and Engineering for innovative technology solutions.
• Establish performance metrics and KPIs for accountability.
• Mentor and develop leaders within the lending team.
• Advise executive leadership on lending compliance and trends.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Compliance, and Finance teams.
• Represent Valon in building relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10+ years in mortgage lending with sales and operations leadership.
• Proven track record in building high-performing lending teams.
• Deep understanding of mortgage origination processes.
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth fintech environment.
• Ability to partner with technology teams for innovative tools.
• Data-driven with experience defining and executing KPIs.
• Inspirational people leader with mentoring experience.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Strong strategic thinking with hands-on execution skills.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; advanced degree a plus.
