Overview

The Team Leader for the Radiation Protection Laboratory is responsible for managing and updating radiation protection permits and associated documentation, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and leading a team in effective radiation safety measures.

• Manage and update radiation protection permits and documents.
• Create and document concepts for environmental and personnel control.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements and the ALARA principle.
• Support the selection and development of effective radiation protection measures.
• Evaluate and control the effectiveness of existing protection concepts.
• Coordinate and ensure timely submission of relevant reports.
• Provide technical guidance and support to assigned personnel.
• Plan and conduct legally mandated training and safety instructions.
• Analyze and prepare key figures and reporting data for compliance.
• Organize and coordinate all health and safety measures at the site.

Requirements

• Completed university degree in Physics, Chemistry, or a comparable field.
• Proven experience in radiation protection including certification for handling open radioactivity.
• Fluent in German.
• Good knowledge of English.
• First leadership experience is desirable.
