Software Engineer – Full Stack / Cloud Services - Remote

Overview

Valinor is a defense and government tech company focused on addressing significant but often overlooked problems in the resiliency ecosystem. We are seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to develop the cloud and UI infrastructure for our field medical platform.

In Short

• Build secure, scalable cloud-native services for real-time medical workflows.
• Develop clinician-facing interfaces for streaming video and telemetry.
• Implement robust APIs and protocols for edge system integration.
• Design for degraded connectivity and secure data relay.
• Collaborate with the Harbor GM and mission owners on product roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years in backend and frontend software development.
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Node.js and modern JS frameworks (React preferred).
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Experience designing REST/gRPC APIs and secure communication protocols.
• Strong DevOps instincts and systems-thinking approach.
• Willingness to travel and collaborate hands-on.
• Preferred: Experience in healthcare or DoD environments.
• Preferred: Familiarity with WebRTC, RTMP, or HLS streaming.
• Preferred: Experience with medical data standards (HL7, FHIR).
