Software Engineer - Ticketing Application Development - Remote

Overview

Vacasa is the largest vacation rental property management company in the world with more than 45,000 rental units. Our Software Engineering Team is currently developing a comprehensive ticketing application designed for the property management industry. The app will serve property owners, guests, housekeepers, and managers, providing an all-in-one platform to streamline communication and operational planning.

In Short

• Develop a ticketing system for managing guest requests and maintenance issues.
• Ensure real-time communication between property owners, managers, housekeepers, and guests.
• Implement work planning and scheduling for housekeepers and maintenance teams.
• Provide owner and guest access for submitting requests and tracking responses.
• Enable task assignment for managers with live updates on task status.
• Set up notifications and alerts for task updates and urgent requests.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience with React.
• Ability to write high-quality, well-tested code.
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Typescript.
• Experience with modern backend development using Typescript and Node.js on AWS.
