V! Studios’ IT Services team is seeking a U.S. Citizen for full-time employment as a Senior Backend Engineer. You will be part of a team that enjoys solving challenging problems for clients by delivering robust systems with clear, maintainable code.

In Short

Develop serverless OCR systems for aerospace organizations.
Collaborate with economic think tanks on simulation engines.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain cloud-based web apps.
Use technologies like Python, AWS, Serverless, and Docker.
Participate in engineering on-call rotation.
Mentor and learn from less-experienced team members.
Embrace Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, and automated testing.
Work within a Scrum/Agile process.
Collaborate with the 3D Animation team on interdisciplinary projects.
Work in a highly-available, fault-tolerant system environment.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python and AWS services.
Experience with Serverless architecture and Docker.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD practices.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience in mentoring junior developers.
Problem-solving mindset with a passion for learning.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Experience with tools like Google Workspace, Slack, and Jira.
Willingness to participate in on-call duties.
