Their responsibilities typically include analyzing market data, tracking product metrics, and providing actionable insights to improve a product's performance and user experience.

In Short

  • Collect and analyze product-related data from various sources (e.g., sales, customer feedback, and usage patterns).
  • Monitor product performance metrics such as revenue, engagement, and user retention.
  • Generate detailed reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitor strategies.
  • Work closely with product managers and other teams to evaluate the success of product launches or updates.
  • Collaborate with product development, marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure product strategies align with business goals.
  • Analyze customer feedback and behaviors to understand how users interact with the product.
  • Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to measure the impact of product changes or new features.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Economics, Data Science, or Computer Science).
  • 5–7 years minimum in e-commerce catalog management, product research, and marketplace operations (preferably in electronics or IT hardware categories).
  • Experience in data analysis or product management is often preferred.
  • Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools is a key requirement.
