Overview

The IT Support Technician at Utah's Promise is responsible for ensuring that staff have secure and reliable access to technology tools and support, providing both in-person and remote assistance.

In Short

• Provide IT support to over 80 team members.
• Maintain and improve technology tools and infrastructure.
• Conduct security audits and manage help desk operations.
• Provision and set up hardware and software for staff.
• Assist with staff education on technology use.
• Work primarily onsite with remote work options on Fridays.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of IT support experience or relevant education.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft Windows and Mac OS.
• Experience with Office 365 and Azure AD.
• Ability to troubleshoot various hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and security practices.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Certifications like CompTIA A+ are a plus.
• Ability to learn and integrate new technologies.
• Experience with deployment tools is beneficial.
• End-user focus and relationship-building skills.
