Clinical Pharmacist - Remote

Overview

The Clinical Pharmacist will work under the direction of Pharmacy Leadership and collaborate with medical directors and enterprise personnel to manage pharmacy care and drug utilization.

• Report to Pharmacy Leadership.
• Work cooperatively with medical directors.
• Assist in drug utilization and prior authorization review.
• Develop pharmacy cost containment strategies.
• Conduct second level reviews for medications.
• Prepare reports on utilization and cost trends.
• Serve as a liaison to pharmacists and providers.
• Support pharmacy initiatives for satisfaction.
• Ensure timely medication delivery for members.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
• Current pharmacist license in Arkansas.
• Minimum three years of pharmacy practice experience.
• Experience in managed pharmacy care preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of pharmacy benefits.
