Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

This position provides critical support for the quality, validity and integrity of confidential data to use in decision making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives.

In Short

• Retrieve, analyze and summarize various types of data.
• Develop competitive and business intelligence.
• Prepare ongoing reports and data visualizations.
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns.
• Consult with users to identify data sources and validation standards.

• Conduct root cause analysis of business problems.
• Manage ad-hoc report requests and findings.
• Ensure the security and confidentiality of records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of data analytics experience.
• Experience with relational databases (SAS, SQL).
• Familiarity with data management and analysis tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to present reports effectively.
• Critical thinking and strategic planning abilities.
• Experience with MySQL and IBM Cognos preferred.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
