Machinist/Grinder - Remote

Overview

As a Machinist/Grinder at 3M, you will have the opportunity to work with innovative teams and contribute to manufacturing processes by operating grinding machines and ensuring quality standards.

In Short

• Operate grinders to machine parts to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Measure and verify setups and parts using various measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Report time and material in manufacturing systems.
• Wear personal protective equipment as required.
• Process simple parts requiring little or no grinding.
• Collaborate with diverse teams globally.
• Follow safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Contribute to achieving standard productivity and quality levels.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED or higher.
• Minimum one year of machinist experience.
• Strong conceptual and technical skills.
• Experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
• Ability to pass 3M elected testing.
• Three years of related experience preferred.
