Machinist, 2nd Shift - Remote

Overview

As a Machinist at 3M, you will collaborate with innovative teams to create precision parts using advanced machining techniques and equipment.

In Short

• Set up, program, and operate CNC and manual machining equipment.
• Translate detailed drawings and models into finished parts.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety.
• Communicate with supervisors and team members daily.
• Work 2nd shift hours (4-10s).
• Possess a valid Driver’s License.
• Experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus.

Requirements

• 2-year technical degree or 3 years of machinist experience, or a High School Diploma with 5 years of experience.
• Familiarity with machine assembly and operation.
• Experience with large horizontal milling and wire EDM machines.
• Ability to pass 3M's testing requirements.
• Strong communication skills.
