Overview

As a Litigation Insurance Adjuster at TruStage, you will investigate and resolve complex third-party litigated claims while providing exceptional service to credit unions.

In Short

• Investigate and evaluate coverage and liability exposures.
• Negotiate and resolve complex claims.
• Provide consultation on credit union risks and loss prevention.
• Collaborate with claims and product experts.
• Ensure integration of recovery processes in claims resolution.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Handle claims across multiple states.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite effectively.
• Work independently in a remote environment.
• Engage in some independent travel for mediations and trials.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in P&C Insurance with litigation claims.
• Strong knowledge of policy coverage and interpretation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Adjuster License and Continuing Education as needed.
• Professional Designations like SCLA, AIC, CPCU are desirable.
• Project management experience is a plus.
• Prior experience with Program Third Party Administrators is a plus.
