Overview

The Technical Support Specialist - Systems (Tier 2) is responsible for providing high-level customer support for US Signal's Cloud, Disaster Recovery, and Data Protection services, acting as a mentor and escalation point for Tier 1 Support Agents.

In Short

  • Full-time position in a remote setting.
  • Provide Tier 2 customer support for cloud services.
  • Act as a mentor for Tier 1 Support Agents.
  • Troubleshoot Windows and Linux Server issues.
  • Work with VMWare technologies and data protection platforms.
  • Participate in on-call schedule.
  • Collaborate with various teams and customers.
  • Focus on customer service excellence.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned.
  • Work Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM.

Requirements

  • Expertise in customer service.
  • Experience with VMWare and server operating systems.
  • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure and virtual environments.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Data/IP Networking.
  • Technical training in relevant fields.
  • Experience in a data center or helpdesk environment.
  • Active CCNA certification preferred.
