Overview

As a Classification & Onboarding Specialist at Upwork, you will make impactful classification decisions and support the Upwork Payroll solution, representing the Classification and Onboarding Solution to clients and partners.

In Short

• Drive accountability for metrics and company OKRs.
• Support Upwork Freelancers and clients throughout engagements.
• Ensure timely communication by meeting established SLAs.
• Work with teams to develop solutions for Classification & Onboarding Services.
• Use discretion to make classification determinations compliant with laws.
• Educate partners and clients on account expectations.

Requirements

• Experience in customer service or support roles.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make judgment calls.
• Familiarity with compliance and classification guidelines.
• Experience in managing relationships with clients and partners.
