Overview

Upstream Rehabilitation is looking for a Remote Patient Account Specialist to join our team. The Patient Account Specialist is responsible for handling incoming calls for our patients, supporting billing and insurance inquiries, and creating a courteous experience.

• Handle incoming patient calls regarding billing questions.
• Assist in taking payments and setting payment plans.
• Resolve billing issues through effective communication.
• Review accounts with outstanding balances.

• Hours: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM EST.
• Must reside in the United States.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Call center or medical billing experience preferred.
• Exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and problem-solve.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have a HIPAA compliant workspace.
