Overview

The Acute Hospital Outpatient Compliance Auditor is responsible for auditing hospital outpatient encounters to ensure appropriate reimbursement and compliance with regulations.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Formal training in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and CPT-4 coding.
• 2-4 years of coding experience in a trauma hospital.
• Certification as CCS, RHIT, RHIA, or CIC.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Computer proficiency and typing ability.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
