Overview

The Supply Technician is responsible for the proper handling and dispensing of medical/surgical supplies in clinical areas, ensuring efficient inventory management and supply distribution within the healthcare setting.

  • Responsible for dispensing medical/surgical supplies in clinical areas.
  • Accurate ordering and filling of supply par levels.
  • Daily checks and maintenance of inventory counts.
  • Organizing and labeling supply areas.
  • Maintaining supply cabinets and carts in a neat condition.
  • Performing cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Staffing the Central Supply dispatch window.
  • Responsible for after-hour delivery of supplies.
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Collaboration with healthcare teams to improve patient care.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Six months of previous experience in supply distribution.
  • Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail in inventory management.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the USA.
  • Willingness to undergo pre-employment screening.
