Overview

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) supports the delivery of care in the Neurology/Neurosurgery unit, working under the supervision of registered nurses to assist with patient care tasks.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Completion of a patient care technician course within 3 months of hire.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Basic computer skills and strong work ethics.
• Preferred: Certification as a nursing assistant or military corpsman.
• Previous patient care experience in an acute care setting preferred.
