The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Lead Certified Procedural Coding Specialist to assist the Coding Manager in ensuring accurate coding and charge entry for patient visits, working remotely from home.

Requirements

• Certification such as CCA, CCS, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA.
• Minimum of 2 years coding experience preferred.
• Ability to assess health record documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical necessity for claims.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
