Equipment Technician - Remote

Overview

The Equipment Technician works collaboratively with the staff in the operating room to assist in the safe and timely flow of patients through the operating rooms, managing medical equipment and ensuring its optimal performance.

In Short

• Work Sun night - Thursday night.
• Conduct routine checks and calibrations on medical equipment.
• Address malfunctions in medical devices.
• Oversee the tracking of reusable medical equipment.
• Disassemble, clean, and sterilize surgical instruments.
• Ensure surgical instrument sets are correctly assembled.
• Identify equipment issues and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain cleanliness in preparation areas.
• Assist clinical staff with equipment usage and maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Two years of experience in a related field.
