Overview

The C-17 Support Equipment Technician will provide maintenance and calibration of support equipment for the Kuwait Air Force, specifically for C-17 Field Services based at Al-Mubarak Air Base in Kuwait City.

In Short

Coordinate C-17 support equipment maintenance requirements.
Plan and develop repair solutions for support equipment.
Define procedures and material requirements for inspections and repairs.
Assist in project development and technical support activities.
Conduct functional tests and inspections of equipment.
Document maintenance and inspection actions.
Train and support less experienced technicians.
Maintain equipment records and spare part demands.
Work under general direction.
Relocation offered based on candidate eligibility.

Requirements

5+ years of experience working on aircraft support equipment.
Prior experience with US Air Force or Boeing ground support equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and conduct functional tests.
Familiarity with USAF Technical Orders.
Proficiency with database entry software and Microsoft Office.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
