Overview

The Heavy Equipment Diesel Technician will perform complex preventative maintenance tasks, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of heavy equipment including trucks and Yellow Iron.

In Short

  • 6 years of prior Heavy Equipment diesel maintenance experience required.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Work schedule: Mon-Fri (8–10-hour shifts) with rotating Saturdays.
  • Perform repairs on a variety of equipment including bulldozers and backhoes.
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems, motors, and electrical systems.
  • Complete preventative maintenance checklists and records.
  • Participate in ongoing training and safety practices.

Requirements

  • 6 years of relevant work experience in diesel maintenance.
  • Experience with Computer Diagnostics on Yellow Iron preferred.
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the US.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen and physical.
  • Knowledge of safety practices and ability to operate tools and equipment.
