Overview

The Curriculum Development Specialist is a highly skilled professional responsible for providing clinical leadership and developing educational programs for health care professionals, ensuring high-quality patient care.

In Short

  • Provide clinical leadership and educational support for nursing staff.
  • Develop and evaluate clinical training programs.
  • Assess educational needs of staff and design programs accordingly.
  • Collaborate with unit leadership to promote staff development.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices in educational programs.
  • Conduct annual educational needs assessments.
  • Implement and evaluate educational curricula.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and students.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the integration of theory and research into practice.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Five years of nursing specialty experience.
  • Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas.
  • Certification in specialty area preferred.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain confidentiality.
  • Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Experience in nursing education or program assessment preferred.
