Overview

We are seeking an experienced Physician Recruiter (Contractor) who specializes in sourcing General Surgeons—this is a must-have requirement. Experience recruiting Vascular Surgeons and/or Interventional Radiologists is strongly preferred.

In Short

  • Proactively source and engage General Surgeons across targeted geographies.
  • Identify and engage Vascular Surgeons and Interventional Radiologists where applicable.
  • Utilize a variety of channels including cold outreach, databases, job boards, email campaigns, social media, and referrals.
  • Manage candidate flow and communications through tracking tools and weekly updates.
  • Screen candidates and assess alignment with UVVC’s clinical model and geographic needs.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date candidate tracking and notes for team visibility.
  • Act as the first point of contact for physicians and represent UVVC with professionalism and credibility.

Requirements

  • Must have experience recruiting General Surgeons, including multiple (10+) General Surgeons, Vascular Surgeons, or Interventional Radiologists in one or more of the following markets: New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ), Texas (TX), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), and Arizona (AZ).
  • Strongly preferred: experience recruiting physicians for multiunit outpatient practices.
  • Strongly preferred: experience sourcing Vascular Surgeons and/or Interventional Radiologists.
  • 3+ years of physician recruiting experience, ideally in a high-volume or startup-like environment.
  • Must be comfortable with use of recruiting tools, including sourcing platforms (such as HireEZ, LinkedIn, PracticeMatch) and ATS (Greenhouse).
  • Highly skilled in cold outreach and persistent follow-up.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting.
