Founding AI Engineer - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a Founding AI Engineer to own the design, deployment, and optimization of the full voice AI pipeline—from audio input to model response. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building low-latency systems, deploying ML at scale, and making complex infrastructure bulletproof.

In Short

• Build and optimize a streaming speech pipeline (TTS/ASR/VAD).
• Handle audio I/O, frame stitching, jitter correction, and noise suppression.
• Package and deploy models using Docker and infrastructure-as-code.
• Benchmark model and system performance across latency and audio quality.
• Lead secure deployment practices including VPC configuration and logging.
• Document systems clearly and collaborate with research and product teams.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and C++.
• Experience building or maintaining real-time audio processing systems.
• Familiarity with ML model deployment in production.
• Comfortable using Docker and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Knowledge of secure cloud environments, particularly logging and encryption.
