Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The client is hiring a Senior Accountant to join a fast-paced financial infrastructure team operating in a global, multi-entity environment. You'll handle significant accounting tasks including reconciliations, balance sheet analysis, and journal entries across multiple currencies and jurisdictions.

In Short

• Month-end close, journal entries, GL maintenance, and trial balance reviews.
• Balance sheet and P&L fluctuation analysis.
• Reconciliation resolution with the Center of Excellence.
• Work with FX transactions and multiple global entities.
• Prepare internal reporting and support external audits.
• Identify and help fix control gaps and broken workflows.
• Participate in system upgrades and cross-functional projects.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization for a clean close.

Requirements

• ~5 years of real-world accounting experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP (IFRS is a bonus).
• Strong Excel skills, familiarity with Oracle preferred.
• Sharp analytical mindset focused on fixing inefficiencies.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Detail-oriented and efficient.
