Senior Accountant - Remote

In Short

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations as part of the month end close process
• Ensure financial information is recorded in accordance with GAAP
• Record credit card activity and employee reimbursements
• Review bills recorded as prepaids and fixed assets for accuracy
• Record cash activity throughout the month
• Assist with the preparation of financial statements
• Perform other routine and non-routine functions as assigned by management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance, with a minimum 3-4 years of G/L experience
• Able to work independently, as well as with a group
• Strong attention to detail
• Effective problem-solving capabilities
• Clear understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
