Overview

As SVP of Engineering at Underdog, you will lead and scale a multi-disciplinary engineering organization, ensuring stability, velocity, and excellence while partnering with Product and Design to deliver on the roadmap.

Requirements

• 15+ years in leadership roles within high-impact engineering organizations.
• Proven track record of scaling engineering teams.
• Deep expertise in data infrastructure, cloud (AWS, GCP), and security.
• Experience in both strategic and hands-on engineering contexts.
• Strong performance management mindset with metrics-driven approach.
• Exceptional cross-functional relationship skills, especially with Product and Design.
• Excellent communication skills for distilling complexity and inspiring teams.
• Bias for action, ownership, and continuous improvement.
