Buyer - Global Procurement - Remote

Overview

The Buyer role will be an integral member of the Ultragenyx Global Procurement team, managing procurement activities and ensuring data accuracy in purchase orders.

• Manage procurement activities for all departments.
• Review purchase requisitions and convert them to purchase orders.
• Perform data analysis on supplier spend.

• Resolve procure-to-pay issues with internal customers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of procurement experience, preferably in Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Customer service excellence.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Oracle R12 and iProcurement.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Understanding of basic accounting and internal controls.
• Ability to build strong relationships.
