Local IT Technician - Remote

Overview

The Local IT Technician will be based in the Tokyo office and act as the right hand of the Regional Manager for all operational activities in Tokyo and Taiwan, ensuring high quality and efficiency in supporting Ubisoft employees.

• Provide on-site and remote IT support for hardware and software.
• Ensure application of security best practices for workstations.
• Build and install work environments for new employees.
• Configure meeting rooms properly.
• Interact with vendors for hardware repairs.
• Deliver technical training to employees.
• Gather employee satisfaction feedback.
• Manage inventory and asset management.
• Support IT needs for events and collaborate with the Events Team.
• Manage local infrastructure in collaboration with other IT teams.

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to make quick decisions and work autonomously.
• Effective in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in Japanese and intermediate in English.
• Expertise in PC and laptop support.
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Office suite.
• Good networking and cabling knowledge.
• College diploma in IT or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in technical support.
