We are currently seeking an experienced Coding Educator to provide training, education and mentoring to outpatient coding staff while working remotely from a home office. The ideal candidate will be flexible, detail-oriented, have the ability to work independently, be quality conscious and able to adapt well to change.

• Provide training and education to outpatient coding staff.

• AHIMA or AAPC certification is necessary.
• Experience with 3M and Epic is preferred.

Requirements

• AHIMA or AAPC certification.
• 3-5 years’ minimum experience in outpatient facility coding and auditing experience.
• Experience utilizing 3M and Epic.
• Technical competency with remote-based connectivity including virtual private networks, multi-factor authentication via smartphone, and video conferencing platforms.
• Proficiency with office software including Outlook email for communication, calendar for meeting attendance, and Excel spreadsheets for data management.
• A committed regular schedule is required with expectations for reliable and punctual attendance.
