In Short

• The CDI Consultant will work with client facilities remotely from a home office.
• Analyze and interpret medical record documentation.
• Formulate appropriate physician queries to improve medical record quality.
• Clinical background with knowledge of medical coding guidelines is required.
• CCDS or CDIP certification is required.
• A minimum of 3 years’ CDI experience is necessary.
• Ability to communicate with physicians and hospital staff is essential.
• Basic proficiency with email and MS Office is needed.
• Experience with remote connectivity and video conferencing tools is required.
