Overview

As the Technical Writer, you will create clear, accurate fitting instructions for automotive products, ensuring a safe and simple installation process for installers.

In Short

• Write step-by-step installation instructions using the company’s Word template.
• Translate technical drawings/renders into clear documentation with supporting diagrams.
• Extrapolate missing details logically while flagging uncertainties.
• Review and cross-check multiple data points for accuracy.
• Document kit contents, required tools, and installation sequence.
• Deliver final files in both Word and PDF formats.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Multimedia Arts, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of technical writing experience.
• Experience with technical drawing and image editing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop.
• Familiarity with other vector/illustration tools is highly regarded.
• Comfortable using AI tools to streamline tasks.
• Strong MS Word skills and ability to export to PDF.
• Exposure to the automotive industry is advantageous.
• A proactive attitude and commitment to growth.
