Join the team as our next NOC Engineer, America for Twilio’s Network Operations Team.

In Short

• Investigate and troubleshoot SMS/MMS, Voice, and Identity alerts related to network traffic anomalies.
• Own, manage, and coordinate service impacting incidents with international carriers.
• Analyze maintenance notifications from carriers and assess service impact.
• Develop and implement projects to enhance documentation and processes.
• 2+ years of experience in a NOC or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with communication technologies like SMS/MMS and Voice.
• Solid understanding of IP networking principles.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:00 Colombia Time.
• Remote work environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant experience working in a Network Operations Center (NOC), Customer Support, or Routing role.
• Hands-on experience in SMS/MMS (SMPP, SS7) and Voice (VoIP, SIP, RTP).
• Solid understanding of fundamental IP networking principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
• ITIL Foundation certification (desired).
• Experience with data analysis tools (desired).
• Experience with ticketing systems (desired).
• Experience with scripting languages or software development (desired).
