Senior Accounts Payable Specialist - Remote

In Short

• Own the end-to-end AP cycle - invoice receipt, review, and triage.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for all AP-related inquiries.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve PO and invoice discrepancies.
• Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors.
• Monitor the company’s AP aging report and resolve outstanding balances.
• Reconcile AP subledger to the general ledger.
• Assist with employee reimbursement requests and credit card expenses.
• Develop and maintain AP policies and internal controls.
• Assist in audits by providing documentation related to AP transactions.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable.
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
• Proficiency with ERP accounting systems, Oracle Fusion and Coupa a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort with data analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
