Manager, Union Payroll - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Union Payroll Manager who is a passionate, people-focused, action-oriented leader to join our Payroll Shared Services team at Fox Corporation, responsible for overseeing the payroll processes for union and freelance employees.

In Short

• Lead and coordinate the Union Payroll Team's activities.
• Ensure timely processing of paychecks for union and freelance employees.
• Drive process standardization and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and collective bargaining agreements.
• Manage stakeholder queries and deliver excellent customer service.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Coach and mentor team members for operational excellence.
• Maintain knowledge of wage and hour regulations.
• Collaborate with key functional partners across the organization.
• Implement scalable solutions to payroll challenges.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Payroll management in a complex organization.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local wage regulations.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (V-Lookup and Pivot Tables).
• Ability to manage multiple commitments under tight deadlines.
• Outstanding people skills and ability to influence at all levels.
• Experience with collective bargaining agreements preferred.
• Certification as a Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.
• Experience managing remote teams is advantageous.
• Strategic mindset with a willingness to improve processes.
• Excellent communication skills.
