Overview

Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director of Construction Estimating with deep experience in electric transmission and distribution to join our talented team. This is a primarily remote role, with some client site travel required.

In Short

• Develop cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design.
• Support client land acquisitions.
• Deliver and present updated cost plans at design milestones.
• Review design changes and prepare estimates.
• Provide commercial input to design optioneering.
• Prepare cash commit forecasts for the construction life cycle.
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders on estimates and cost plans.
• Analyze labor markets and cost drivers.
• Support clients with monthly presentations.
• Deliver Life Cycle Costing models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in power & electric transmission industries.
• Experience in construction cost management roles.
• Strong client-facing skills.
• Experience in program level cost management for large-scale projects.
• Good knowledge of construction industry technical matters.
• Strong communication skills.
