Turner & Townsend is seeking an Associate Director of Construction Estimating with deep experience in electric transmission and distribution to join our talented team. This role involves significant client management responsibilities and is primarily remote with some required client site travel.

In Short

• Develop cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design.
• Support client land acquisitions.
• Deliver and present updated cost plans at design milestones.
• Review design changes and prepare estimates.
• Provide commercial input to design optioneering.
• Prepare cash commit forecasts for the construction life cycle.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in preparing estimates.
• Analyze labor markets and cost drivers.
• Support clients with monthly presentations.
• Deliver Life Cycle Costing models.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in power & electric transmission.
• Experience in construction cost management roles.
• Strong client-facing skills.
• Experience in program level cost management for large projects.
• Knowledge of value management and engineering.
• Strong communication skills.
