BI Manager, Finance - Remote

Overview

We’re hiring a BI Manager embedded in Finance to build the business intelligence function that powers planning, reporting, and decision‑making. You’ll start as a hands‑on player‑coach: designing our semantic layer, standing up Tableau/Looker dashboards, reviewing and improving data pipelines, and partnering with Business Systems as they hire BI Analysts who will transition to your reporting line. You’ll also help stand up our financial planning model and ensure a clean handshake between the data warehouse and planning tools.

• Build the BI org in Finance: Define the team charter, operating model, and hiring plan.
• Own the metrics & semantic layer: Establish a governed KPI catalog.
• Design, build, and maintain executive and functional dashboards in Tableau or Looker.
• Partner with Business Systems/Data Engineering to review ELT/ETL pipelines.
• Create finance‑ready data models for revenue, opex, and headcount.
• Help set up and maintain our planning model (e.g., Anaplan).
• Produce board/ELT reporting packages and automate recurring reporting.
• Pilot anomaly detection and reconciliation automations.

Requirements

• 6–10+ years in Analytics/BI with experience in Finance/FP&A.
• Advanced SQL; experience with BigQuery preferred.
• Expertise in Tableau or Looker and dashboard design.
• Experience with NetSuite (ERP) and Salesforce (CRM) strongly preferred.
• Experience enabling FP&A workflows and connecting warehouse data to planning tools.
• Comfort establishing metric definitions and monitoring frameworks.
• Ability to influence cross‑functionally and executive storytelling.
