Overview

The Senior Administrative Coordinator for the Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) is a key member of the Advancement Department and will help to drive fundraising and engagement success. The Senior Administrative Coordinator is responsible for supporting the CAO to raise funds for Trust for Public Land’s mission.

In Short

  • Provide administrative support for the CAO, including calendar management and logistics.
  • Manage key elements of special projects with the Senior Advancement Team.
  • Develop proposals and reports in collaboration with Donor Relations.
  • Support the National Board of Director’s Advancement and Volunteer Leadership Committees.
  • Work in a hybrid role, preferably near TPL offices.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Utilize technology to enhance efficiency in processes.
  • Commit to the mission of Trust for Public Land.
  • Ability to travel nationally one to two times per year.

Requirements

  • Three to five years of relevant experience in administrative support.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Self-direction and flexibility in prioritizing tasks.
  • Excellent computer skills, especially with remote communication technology.
  • Willingness to support diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
