Overview

The Personal Banker provides exceptional service to member-owners, helping them enhance their financial lives and become their preferred financial partner.

In Short

  • Engages members in conversation to identify financial needs.
  • Processes account openings, loan applications, and transactions.
  • Educates members on products and services.
  • Handles problem resolution and provides first contact support.
  • Makes outbound sales and service calls.
  • Maintains integrity and confidentiality of member accounts.
  • Adheres to security and fraud prevention requirements.
  • Participates in branch goals and objectives.
  • Assists with member service on the Teller line as needed.
  • Completes training and maintains necessary certifications.

Requirements

  • Must have NMLS registration under the SAFE Act.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Good arithmetic and basic computer skills.
  • Detail-oriented and well-organized.
  • Flexible and able to shift priorities as needed.
  • College degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years related experience preferred.
  • Previous sales and lending experience preferred.
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 10 pounds occasionally.
  • Must attend Branch Lending Training within 3 months.
