Overview

The Branch Assistant Manager assists the Branch Manager in the efficient overall management and business development of a branch, ensuring policies and procedures align with the Credit Union's objectives.

In Short

  • Assist in managing branch operations and business development.
  • Provide leadership and supervision to branch team.
  • Engage with members to understand their financial needs.
  • Process account openings, loan applications, and transactions.
  • Monitor budget and ensure financial management.
  • Coach team members for improved performance.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
  • Participate in community organizations.
  • Maintain security and operational procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service to enhance member relationships.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor Degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in retail or financial services.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring employees.
  • Knowledge of credit union operations and financial products.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a goal-oriented environment.
  • Must have NMLS registration.
  • Previous sales and lending experience required.
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong PC skills.
