Senior Data Engineer (Python/Snowflake/DBT) - Remote

Overview

In this role, you will join a dynamic Data Engineering team to refine data processes, enhance monitoring, and drive operational improvements. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams in application development, data engineering, and customer success to transform raw data into actionable insights.

• Build and deploy data solutions using modern data tools and the client’s analytics stack.
• Develop a deep understanding of the organization’s data and be a trusted expert on best practices for usage.
• Design and implement robust data models using Snowflake and DBT.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses to identify issues, diagnose anomalies, and recommend solutions.
• Utilize AWS services to design and optimize data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Evaluate and recommend alternative cloud-based approaches to improve efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of data engineering experience or equivalent experience in software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for scripting and data manipulation.
• Experience with DBT and Snowflake (or similar cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery or Azure DWH).
• Solid understanding of AWS-based data infrastructure (S3, Lambda, EC2).
