Special Events Manager - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Special Events Manager to join our Marketing team and lead the execution of strategic brand and community events.

In Short

• Lead the execution of the existing events strategy.
• Build and manage detailed timelines for event marketing plans.
• Collaborate with the design team for creative assets.
• Coordinate with alumni and current students for event participation.
• Serve as the central communicator across departments.
• Partner with the social media team for event promotion.
• Identify venues and vendors for events.
• Manage logistics for seamless event operations.
• Travel to and manage on-site events as needed.
• Lead post-event debriefs for future improvements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in event planning or marketing.
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience coordinating with creative and marketing teams.
• Willingness to travel domestically as needed.
• Comfortable managing logistics in fast-paced environments.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira and Google Workspace.
• Ability to work independently while aligning with team goals.
• Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs for event setup.
• Must provide own high-speed internet and laptop.
